I want to pay with money order, cashiers check, or personal check. How do I do that?
You are more than welcome to pay with any of those forms of payment. Please remember that personal checks can take up to 21 days to process. We cannot ship any orders out until personal checks clear our bank.
Please make all checks, money orders, or cashiers checks out to "The Music Station". Place your "ORDER NUMBER" on the check for the fastest processing of your order.
Just place your order as you normally would and checkout. When you come to the "Please Select The Payment Method" page, just choose your form of payment and click "Proceed to Checkout". You will then be taken to the "Place Order" page. Verify that your order is correct. Click on the "Place Order" button. Once your order is placed please make a copy of the "Thank you for your order" page and send it along with your payment to the address provided.
If you don't include this page with your payment, it will delay processing of your order until we can contact you for verification.

I need something that is not on your site, can you do a special order for me?
Of course, we would be glad to make a special order for any of our customers. Just give us a call, see our Contact Us page for phone number, and tell us what you need. We have several suppliers with access to thousands of products.
We will be able to give you a price over the phone, take your shipping and credit card information and place the order for you. Once we receive your purchase in, we will give you a call to let you know the tracking number.
All special orders require payment in full, including shipping charges, before they can be ordered.
What is your Return Policy?
We will gladly accept returns under the following conditions.
1. Item(s) must be in resalable condition.
2.. Item(s) MUST NOT have been registered for warranty purposes.
3. ALL ORIGINAL packaging and documentation must be returned with the item(s).
4. Customer must call for an RMA number prior to returning any purchases.
A 15% restocking fee will be assessed to all returns. This is becasue we can no longer sell the item as new. It can only be sold as used or demo merchandise according to our dealer contracts.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all return shipping/handling charges including insurance.
Are all the items you offer in stock?
No. We do this for two reasons, First, we do not have any warehouse space. Secondly, we receive each item packed by the manufacturer for shipment. This way we can ship the item out in the best possible packaging. This also saves us on handling costs, which in turn saves our customers.
Once you place an order we place the order with our supplier. Once we place the order we will receive it within 2 to 4 business days. Once we receive the item(s) that you ordered it will be shipped out with the next shipement.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Personal Check (up to 21 days to process), and PayPal.
Currently all of our online credit card payments are handled through PayPal. You do not have to have a registered PayPal account to make payments to us. There is an option to make payments without opening an account with PayPal.
If you are a registered PayPal customer please feel free to use PayPal to make your payment to us. You can use all credit cards as well as your PayPal balance.
Do you offer shipping discounts?
Currently no, we are just beginning the online store and are in the process of getting it up and running. As time goes on we will get a better grasp on our shipping system.
Our shipping rates are based on the weight of the shipment to the furthest destination from our zip code and then averaged. Many items that we offer have FREE SHIPPING.
Your payments are handled through PayPal, does that mean I need a Paypal account to pay for my purchase?
No. When you get ready to pay a new screen will come up for you to make your payment. You have a choice to either sign into your PayPal account, if you have one, or make a payment without a PayPal account.
In the lower left part of the screen you will see a link to make a payment without using a PayPal account. You can just click on the link and enter your credit card information.
All payments are made on a Secure SSL Server. Your payment information is not stored.
What if an item(s) I bought are on Back Order?
Sometimes this does happen. As with most markets the music industry has its ups and downs with the suppliers. Most all the items that we sell on our online store are available. However, occasionally we run into a back order situation.
If an item is on back order for whatever reason we will contact the customer about the situation and will be glad to either wait for the item to come in or refund all monies associated with the purchase.
I found an item for less than you offer it, will you match the price?
Yes, The Music Station will match any legitimate price from any authorized dealer on all new products that we sell, this includes special orders. Just provide us with either the URL for the item or a signed written quote. Once we verify the price is legitimate and from an authorized dealer we will be glad to match that price.
You will have to contact us directly by phone so we can process the order properly. Due to the nature of this site we cannot give discounts online at this time. Please give us a call at (213)775 PICK (7425) with any questions.
We constantly check our online prices with other big box online stores and we are right in line with them, including shipping charges. In fact, at times our additional shipping charges are less than those of the big online stores.
Price matching does not include "Percent Off" sales or "Rebates".
My purchase was damaged during shipment, what do I do?
Accidents happen and sometimes shipments do get damaged. This is why we ship our items out in the same boxes that we receive them in. This protects us as well as the customer. All shipments are insured for actual value.
If there was damage during shipment please contact us ASAP. If you notice damage to the package when you receive it from the currier make sure they know about it. You will have the option not to accept the damaged shipment. If you accept the package, you MUST KEEP all packaging materials.
When you contact us we can discuss how to proceed. We are more than happy to make things right for our customers. We will assist in anyway that we can to make things right.

Can I return the software that I bought?
Yes, however the software must be unopened. If the packaging has been opened no return can be accepted. I am sorry but due to the nature of todays computers we cannot accept returns on software purchases once they have been opened.
What does the Shipping Charge include?
Shipping charges include the actual cost of shipping the item to its destination, fuel cost to drop the packages off at the shipping service, and insurance. These are all manditory charges.
If shipping charges that are paid are in excess of actual charges I will refund the excess to the customer.
Do you offer Lawaway?
Yes, we offer layaways for local purchases only. However, we cannot accpet layaways on website orders at this time unless you are local and can come in and make payments. We currently do not have the storage space for such an endevor. In the future and if the demand is there we may offer this for website orders.
Can I pay for an order with my credit card over the phone?
Yes. All you need to do is complete your order. Print the "Thank you for your order" page for your records. Call us during regular business hours and give us your information. Please have your credit card, order number and shipping information handy to expidite your order processing.
All credit cards are verified which means that all the information must match what is on file with the credit card company. This is for fraud protection.
